I really do this. There are many objects around me, reminding me of things I should do.
Mind you, I don't say this method will work for everyone. But if you place something right in front of you, it's hard to igrnore it --most of the time.
Of course, this means there are lots of reminders like this around me, at all times. :)
When I read these memory tips, I realize that unconciously, I've really put some of them to use already, especially this one:
Things can be associated by:
- being placed on top of the associated object
- crashing or penetrating into each other
